About Keith Higgins
Keith Higgins serves as the District Attorney of the Brunswick Judicial Circuit, a five-county district encompassing Appling, Camden, Glynn, Jeff Davis, and Wayne counties. Keith is credited for integrating impactful changes that consistently demonstrate fairness and support for law enforcement, with public safety of highest importance.
Prior to his current, elected position, Keith upheld the ideals of integrity and courage throughout his 26 years of service as an prosecutor in this district. A graduate of Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia, Keith has tried cases for almost 40 years.
Keith grew up in Cobb County, Georgia, and developed a deep faith that became the bedrock of a life steeped in core values. He attained Eagle Scout ranking, served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, and dedicates his life to community involvement and public service. Keith and his wife, Virginia, married 42 years ago, raised four children in Glynn County and are active members of Community Church.
